Fatigue: Know how to Feel more Energized

Menstruation is a taxing time for our bodies as we undergo several mental and hormonal changes. Therefore, feeling fatigued is quite common during that time of the month. However, there are some things that you can definitely do in order to feel more energized:

Exercise boosts the endorphins in your body, elevating your mood and energy levels. Indulge in light to moderate exercise to help your body stay active.

  • Activities like walking, swimming, or gentle yoga can promote blood circulation
  • A simple bike ride or a dance class can work wonders

Listen to what your body demands and prioritise getting an adequate amount of sleep.

  • Regulate your sleep cycle with 6-8 hours of sleep
  • Allow yourself time to take power naps
  • Maintain consistency in sleeping time and waking up time

Your diet plays a very important role in how energised you feel throughout the day. Stay away from foods that can give you a temporary energy boost but later make you feel lousy.

  • Avoid sugary foods and caffeine
  • Consume complex carbohydrates, lean proteins and lots of fruits and vegetables
Consider Supplements

Consider Supplements

Supplements help in adding the right kind of nutrition to your diet. You must consult a healthcare specialist before taking any supplements.

  • Iron
  • Vitamin B12
